Basketball Recap: Lake Region's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

Lake Region lost to Poland back in January, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Saturday. The Lake Region Lakers snuck past the Poland Knights with a 54-50 victory. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Lakers as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Lake Region's victory bumped their record up to 8-9. As for Poland, they have also been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 13-4 record this season.

Lake Region does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Poland, they will venture away from home to square off against York at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
