Softball Recap: Jal Comes Up Short

Jal managed to slip by Eunice the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Panthers lost 15-7 to the Cardinals on Saturday. Surprisingly, this marked the Panthers' third straight game in which the away team has come away the victor.

Abigal Dardon led a balanced group of hitters, going 2-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base. She has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times she's played. Kaedyn Lujan was another key player, getting on base in three of her five plate appearances with three stolen bases and two runs.

Jal now has a losing record of 12-13. As for Eunice, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-12 record this season.

As of now, neither Jal nor Eunice have any future games scheduled.
