The St. James Performance Academy is still undefeated this season after their game against St. Thomas More on Friday, but St. Thomas More came as close as anyone has to beating them. The Strivers came out on top in a nail-biter against the Chancellors, sneaking past 14-12. Those 14 points were actually the fewest the Strivers have put up all season, but given the result they're probably not too concerned.

The St. James Performance Academy's win bumped their record up to 8-0. As for St. Thomas More, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. The St. James Performance Academy will face off against St. Frances Academy at 7:00 p.m. on November 1. The Panthers' defense has only allowed 8.4 points per game this season, so the Strivers' offense will have their work cut out for them. As for St. Thomas More, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Hun on November 8.
