Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Fort Lupton). They simply couldn't be stopped on Thursday as they easily beat the Lake County Panthers 89-49. Winning may never get old, but the Bluedevils sure are getting used to it with their sixth in a row.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Fort Lupton to victory, but perhaps none more so than Javon Gonzales, who went 8 of 12 on his way to 21 points in addition to eight rebounds and seven assists. Gonzales has been hot, having also posted three or more steals the last six times he's played. Another player making a difference was Guillaume Nkiadiambu, who almost dropped a double-double on 19 points and nine boards.

Fort Lupton smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 18 offensive rebounds. That's the most offensive boards they've posted since back in January of 2024.

Despite the loss, Lake County still got an impressive performance from Isaiah Martinez, who went 9 for 21 en route to 23 points along with five rebounds and four blocks. Andrew Cano also deserves some recognition as he scored his first points of the season.
