Goodland had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 15 runs) and they went ahead and made it four on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Ulysses Tigers by a score of  6-2. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won  11-1  on Tuesday.
 Kaleb Williams made a splash while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound,   pitching 3.2 innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   one  hit. He also  tossed  no  earned runs, which is notable because Goodland is 4-2 when he allows at  most  one  earned run, but 2-4 otherwise. Williams was also solid in the batter's box,  getting on base  in all four of his plate appearances with one  stolen base, one  run,  and one  RBI.
 Williams wasn't  the only one making solid contact as  four players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was  Braylon Mull, who  went 1-for-3 with one  stolen base, one  run,  and one  RBI. That  stolen base was  Mull's first of the season. Another  was  Jared Quain, who  went 1-for-3 with two  RBI and one  double.
The  win  got Goodland back to even at 6-6. As for Ulysses, their defeat was  their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season, which  dropped their record down to 2-10.
 Coincidentally, Goodland and Ulysses will both be playing Holcomb the next time they take the field. The Cowboys will  host the Longhorns at 3:00  p.m.  on Thursday, while the Tigers will  host them  on Tuesday.
