Basketball Game Preview: River Valley Dust Devils vs. Lincoln County Lynx

Having just played yesterday, the River Valley Dust Devils will jump right back in to play the Lincoln County Lynx at 12:30 p.m. on Friday.

River Valley saw some tournament action on Thursday. They were dealt a 68-21 loss at the hands of Adelanto. The matchup marked the Dust Devils' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Meanwhile, Lincoln County beat Pahrump Valley 43-31 on Thursday.

Lincoln County's win came from a few key players River Valley will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Kenyon Almaraz, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and ten rebounds. What's more, he also racked up six steals, the most he's had since back in January. Curtis Rippetoe was another key player, going 5 for 9 on his way to 12 points and eight rebounds.

Lincoln County's victory bumped their record up to 3-1. As for River Valley, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-5.

River Valley beat Lincoln County 57-47 in their previous matchup back in December of 2021. Will River Valley repeat their success, or does Lincoln County have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
