Preview: Bryant Hornets vs. Cabot Panthers

Bryant has been on the road for two straight, but on Tuesday they'll finally head home. They will take on the Cabot Panthers at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Bryant is not getting complacent considering they own a much higher rank in Arkansas (they are ranked first, while Cabot is ranked 41st).

Even though Little Rock Southwest scored an imposing 58 points on Friday, Bryant still came out on top. Bryant enjoyed a cozy 72-58 victory over Little Rock Southwest.

Bryant's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Rj Young led the charge by scoring 25 points along with six rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Young has scored all season. Trent Ford was another key contributor, scoring 15 points along with two steals.

Meanwhile, things could have been worse for Cabot, but they could have been a whole lot better as they took a 58-43 loss to Central on Friday. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Cabot has scored all season.

Bryant pushed their record up to 25-2 with that victory, which was their sixth straight on the road. As for Cabot, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-16 record this season.

Bryant skirted past Cabot 51-48 in their previous matchup on Wednesday. Will Bryant repeat their success, or does Cabot have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
