Volleyball Recap: Kenmore West Falls to Williamsville East in First Game of Season

Kenmore West unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They came up short against the Williamsville East Flames on Monday, falling 3-0. If the Blue Devils were looking for revenge after losing 3-1 to the Flames when the teams met back in October of 2016, then they'll just have to keep looking.

The final score came out to 25-13, 25-20, 25-13.

Williamsville East has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Kenmore West will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Sweet Home at 6:00 p.m. on the 29th. As for Williamsville East, they will look to take advantage of their home court for the first time this season as they take on Amherst Central at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
