Basketball Recap: Nansemond-Suffolk Academy Takes a Loss

After flying high against Isle of Wight Academy last Friday, Nansemond-Suffolk Academy came back down to earth. The Nansemond-Suffolk Academy Saints were beaten by the Trinity Episcopal Titans 59-15 on Sunday. The Saints lost against the Titans in their previous head to head back in December of 2023, too, but the margin this time around was even wider than the 57-37 score last time.

Nansemond-Suffolk Academy's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Trinity Episcopal, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 5-2.

Nansemond-Suffolk Academy will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Portsmouth Christian at 5:30 p.m. on January 9, 2025. As for Trinity Episcopal, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 60-51 loss against Steward on the 20th.
