Stoneman Douglas has gone 4-0 against Fort Lauderdale recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Stoneman Douglas Eagles will take on the Fort Lauderdale Flying L's in a holiday battle at at 4:00 p.m. Stoneman Douglas' last five matches have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

While losing is never fun, the Flying L's can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida soccer rankings (they are ranked 351st, while the Cowboys are ranked 31st).

Stoneman Douglas' draw makes their record 4-0-5 this season. As for Fort Lauderdale, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-9-1.

Stoneman Douglas took their win against Fort Lauderdale in their previous meeting back in November of 2022 by a conclusive 5-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for Stoneman Douglas since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
