 Hanover and Atlee squared off in some playoff action  on Thursday, but Hanover had to settle for second. They took  a  5-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Atlee Raiders. Hanover's loss signaled the end of their 20-game winning streak.
  Lillian Parrish spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned  (and four unearned) runs on four hits and racked up eight Ks. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't  tossed less than six  strikeouts every time she's  pitched this season.
 At the plate, Hanover saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Emma Slutzah, who  scored a  run while going 1-for-3.

As for Atlee, they will look to defend their home field  on Tuesday against Smithfield at 5:30  p.m. Atlee's pitching crew has only allowed 2.4  runs per game  this season, so Smithfield's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
