Baseball Recap: Morgan Township Takes a Loss

Morgan Township fell victim to Hanover Central and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They took a 4-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Wildcats. The Cherokees have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Caleb Ksenak was a force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: he tossed six innings while giving up four earned runs off six hits. What's more, he gave up only one walk, the fewest he's had over his last four games.

Morgan Township's defeat dropped their record down to 6-15-1. As for Hanover Central, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 16-4.

Looking ahead, Morgan Township will be playing in front of their home fans against Glenn at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Hanover Central, they will venture away from home to face off against Valparaiso at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
