Volleyball Game Preview: Parowan Rams vs. South Sevier Rams

Parowan will square off against South Sevier at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams are strolling into their matches after big wins in their previous games.

Parowan is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Wednesday. They blew past Wasatch Academy 3-0. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Rams as it put an end to their seven-match losing streak.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Parowan took every set by at least 14 points. The final score came out to 25-8, 25-11, 25-11.

Meanwhile, South Sevier hadn't done well against Parowan recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way last Tuesday. South Sevier was the clear victor by a 3-0 margin over Parowan. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last five times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

While South Sevier won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-13, 25-23.

South Sevier's victory bumped their record up to 14-12. As for Parowan, their win bumped their record up to 14-15.

Parowan might still be hurting after the 3-0 loss they got from South Sevier in their previous matchup last Tuesday. Can Parowan avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
