Basketball Recap: Fergus Beats Dawson County for Their Second Straight Victory

Fergus won the last time they faced Dawson County, and Kason Brown did his part to make sure it happened again. The Fergus Golden Eagles walked away with a 60-47 win over the Dawson County Red Devils on Saturday thanks in part to Brown, who shot 5-for-9 from long range and dropped a double-double on 34 points and 11 boards. That makes it three consecutive games in which he has scored at least a third of Fergus' points.

The victory made it two in a row for Fergus and bumps their season record up to 5-5. As for Dawson County, they moved to 10-3 with that defeat, which also ended their seven-game winning streak.

As for Dawson County, they will square off against Hardin at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Dawson County is facing Hardin at the right time seeing as Hardin is stuck on a seven-game losing streak.
