Volleyball Recap: Crete-Monee Comes Up Short

Crete-Monee was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Rich Township Raptors. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Warriors of the 2-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

Crete-Monee was the model of consistency in the loss, scoring 14 points in every single set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-14.

Crete-Monee's loss dropped their record down to 7-17. As for Rich Township, they moved to 7-13 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Crete-Monee is set to face off against their familiar foe Bloom at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Rich Township will take on rival Kankakee at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
