Twin Lakes came out on top against Benton Central on Tuesday thanks in part to the team's impressive ten-run fourth inning. The Indians were the clear victors by a 16-0 margin over the Bison. Considering the Indians have won seven matches by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Carson Wagner and Tate Goyer did most of the damage at the plate: Wagner got on base in three of his four plate appearances with two stolen bases, three runs, and one RBI, while Goyer got on base in all four of his plate appearances with three runs and three RBI. That's the most RBI Goyer has posted since back in June of 2024. Another player making a difference was Aidan Holle, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with three runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.

Twin Lakes always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .553. They are a perfect 4-0 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.

The win made it two in a row for Twin Lakes and bumps their season record up to 10-7. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.5 runs over those games. As for Benton Central, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-13 record this season.

Twin Lakes will have a chance to go back-to-back against Benton Central: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
