Baseball Recap: Columbia Central Comes Up Short

Columbia Central managed to slip by Page the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Lions came up short against the Patriots on Friday, falling 15-7. The Lions were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Patriots apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

Columbia Central has also been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 12-11 record this season. As for Page, they pushed their record up to 16-8 with the win, which was their third straight on the road.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Columbia Central will square off against Coffee County Central at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Page, they will host Independence at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
