Softball Preview: Fairfax Stampede vs. McClintock Chargers
The Fairfax Stampede will square off against the McClintock Chargers at 3:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Fairfax is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. Everything went their way against Metro Tech on Thursday as Fairfax made off with a 29-19 victory. Winning may never get old, but the Stampede sure are getting used to it with their fourth in a row.

Emma Saiz made a splash no matter where she played. She struck out nine batters over three innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off two hits. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't tossed less than nine strikeouts in three consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, scoring four runs.
In other batting news, Fairfax got a massive performance out of Nia Hardin, who went 2-for-4 with one home run, three runs, and three RBI. Ashlyn Olson was another key player, getting on base in four of her six plate appearances with five runs, one triple, and two RBI.
Fairfax kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 14 hits. They are a perfect 5-0 when they post 11 or more hits.
