Avier Elvira Turns in Season-Best Effort
Avier Elvira produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Palmer Ridge to the win on Friday. Elvira rushed for 290 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 12.6 yards per carry, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. He was no stranger to the big play, turning on the jets for a run that went for 54 yards.
The victory (which was Palmer Ridge's third in a row) raised their record to 7-1. Elvira and Palmer Ridge will venture away from home to challenge Rampart at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
