Softball Recap: Canon-McMillan Big Macs vs. Mt. Lebanon Blue Devils

Canon-McMillan can finally bid farewell to their three-game losing streak thanks to their game on Monday. They walked away with a 12-8 win over the Mt. Lebanon Blue Devils. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Canon-McMillan also won the last time the pair played back in March.

Brooke Bumer looked comfortable as she struck out eight batters over three innings while giving up no earned run off one hit (and not a single walk).

At the plate, Canon-McMillan let Olivia Ford and Hailey Swope loose on the outfield. Ford went 3-for-4 with a home run and three RBI, while Swope scored two runs while going 2-for-3. Skylah Steban was another key contributor, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while going 1-for-4.
