Softball Recap: Bethel Christian Academy Comes Up Short

After soaring to 30 runs the game before, Bethel Christian Academy was a bit more limited in their match on Thursday. They fell 6-1 to the Wilson Christian Academy Chargers. The Trojans were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Chargers apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

Bethel Christian Academy saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Bailey Smith, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-2.

Bethel Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Wilson Christian Academy, they pushed their record up to 1-1 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bethel Christian Academy will be defending their home field for the first time this season when they go up against Jones at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Bethel Christian Academy is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.5 runs per game this season. As for Wilson Christian Academy, they will host Beddingfield at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
