Basketball Recap: Fertile-Beltrami Comes Up Short

Fertile-Beltrami was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were three points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 41-38 heartbreaker at the hands of the Northern Freeze co-op [Marshall County Central/Tri-County] Northern Freeze. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Falcons have suffered since February 13, 2024.

Fertile-Beltrami now has a losing record at 7-8. As for Northern Freeze co-op [Marshall County Central/Tri-County], the win got them back to even at 4-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Fertile-Beltrami will welcome Win-E-Mac at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Northern Freeze co-op [Marshall County Central/Tri-County], they will take on Red Lake County Central at 7:30 p.m. on January 14th.
