Melbourne Central Catholic lost to Space Coast back in February, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Thursday. The Hustlers came out on top in a nail-biter against the Vipers, sneaking past 5-3. That's two games straight that the Hustlers have won by exactly two runs.

Melbourne Central Catholic's win was truly a team effort as five different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Madelynn Prayto, who went 1-for-3 with one run. Rylie Lovett also deserves some recognition as she brought in her first RBI of the season.

The victory made it two in a row for Melbourne Central Catholic and bumps their season record up to 5-3. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 5 runs in those games. As for Space Coast, their loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 7-6.

Coming up, Melbourne Central Catholic is taking a road trip to square off against Rockledge at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Space Coast, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Merritt Island Christian at 6:00 p.m. on the 31st.
