Volleyball Recap: Thunder Ridge Comes Up Short

Thunder Ridge lost against St. John's/Tipton Catholic back in October of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Longhorns fell 2-0 to the Blujays.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-18.

Lexi Rust paced Thunder Ridge's offense, picking up five kills. Rust got some help from Collien Knuppe and her four assists. Knuppe was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

Thunder Ridge has been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-7 record this season. As for St. John's/Tipton Catholic, they pushed their record up to 8-5 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road.

Thunder Ridge has already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Sylvan-Lucas on the 20th. As for St. John's/Tipton Catholic, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 win against Osborne on the 20th.
