Recap: Booker T. Washington Tornadoes vs. Miami Stingarees
If the Booker T. Washington Tornadoes were feeling good off their 64-40 takedown of the Edison Red Raiders last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Booker T. Washington was beaten by Miami 65-25 on Saturday. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Booker T. Washington has scored all season.
Despite the loss, Booker T. Washington still got an impressive performance from Leroy Lee Jr, who scored 14 points.
Booker T. Washington has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost five of their last six games, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-9 record this season. As for Miami, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 13-5.
Booker T. Washington will face off against Westwood Christian at 11:30 a.m. on Monday. Westwood Christian is looking to tack on another W to their six-game streak on the road. As for Miami, they will face off against Wellington at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Wellington is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
