Volleyball Recap: Rushville-Industry Takes a Loss

Rushville-Industry lost against Augusta Southeastern back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Rockets took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Suns. The Rockets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Rushville-Industry may have fallen short, but they were sure consistent: they scored 21 points in every single set they played. The final score came out to 25-21, 25-21.

Devin Vogler paced Rushville-Industry's offense, picking up ten kills. Vogler got some help from Italee Ford and her 22 assists.

Rushville-Industry's loss dropped their record down to 7-12. As for Augusta Southeastern, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 17-3.

Rushville-Industry has already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Seymour on the 8th. As for Augusta Southeastern, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Quincy Notre Dame on the 7th.
