Olympic beats North Mason for their third straight win

Recap: Olympic Trojans vs. North Mason Bulldogs

The Olympic Trojans had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 48.5 points), and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They really took it to North Mason for the full four quarters, racking up a 52-8 win on the road. With Olympic ahead 31-8 at the half, the match was all but over already.

Riley Mccoy was the offensive standout of the match as he rushed for 176 yards and a touchdown while picking up 9.8 yards per carry. Jeremiah Swain made the highlight reel by snagging an interception and taking it all the way to the house.

Olympic's win bumped their record up to 5-3. As for North Mason, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-7.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Olympic will take on North Kitsap at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. North Kitsap is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune. As for North Mason, they will head out on the road to face off against Port Angeles at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Port Angeles presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than North Mason in Washington (Port Angeles is ranked 94th, while North Mason is ranked 247th).
