Volleyball Recap: Costa Mesa Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Costa Mesa was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They fell 3-1 to the Pacifica Christian Tritons. The Mustangs were not able to make up for their loss to the Tritons from their previous meeting back in August of 2024.

Costa Mesa was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Pacifica Christian work for it, especially in the third set. The final score came out to 25-17, 22-25, 28-26, 25-21.

Addie Roberson went supernova For Pacifica Christian., getting 29 assists and six digs. Those 29 assists gave Roberson a new career-high. Emery Heal was another key player, getting 11 digs and two aces.

Costa Mesa's defeat dropped their record down to 5-9. As for Pacifica Christian, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 9-4.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Costa Mesa will challenge Laguna Hills at 4:15 p.m. on Thursday. As for Pacifica Christian, they will square off against Linfield Christian at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
