Volleyball Recap: Elida Gets the Win

Elida lost to Memorial back in October of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Tuesday. The Bulldogs walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Roughriders.

The match finished with set scores of 29-27, 25-16, 17-25, 25-21.

Abby Kristoff paced Elida's offense, picking up 14 kills. Kristoff got some help from Addy Sneary and her 36 assists. Kristoff was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Elida's win bumped their record up to 9-13. As for Memorial, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-14 record this season.

Elida will take on Defiance at 7:30 p.m. on the 15th. As for Memorial, after both having extra time off, they and Napoleon will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 6:00 p.m. on the 16th.
