Baseball Game Preview: Florida Christian Institute Eagles vs. Palm Beach Christian Prep Saints

The Florida Christian Institute Eagles will venture away from home to square off against the Palm Beach Christian Prep Saints at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.

On Thursday, everything went Florida Christian Institute's way against Palm Beach Christian Prep as Florida Christian Institute made off with a 17-5 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Eagles.

Gabe Delfin was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. Delfin was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring two runs while going 3-for-4.

In other batting news, Rodger Hale and Cordalle Hunter did most of the damage at the plate: Hale went 1-for-2 with four RBI, one triple, and one stolen base, while Hunter scored two runs and stole one base while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances. Chuck Middleton was another key player, scoring two runs while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.

Florida Christian Institute took their win against Palm Beach Christian Prep in their previous matchup on Thursday by a conclusive 17-5.
