Volleyball Recap: Central Comes Up Short

The Central Yellow Jackets came up short against the St. Xavier Tigers on Tuesday, falling 3-0. The Yellow Jackets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

St. Xavier was led to victory by Isaac Kaufman and Louie Murr. Kaufman had seven aces and seven assists, while Murr had nine assists and seven aces. Those seven aces gave Murr a new career-high.

Central now has a losing record of 1-2. As for St. Xavier, the victory was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 8-1.

Central has already played their next match (against St. Xavier), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for St. Xavier, they will square off against DuPont Manual at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
