Basketball Game Preview: Arlington Lions vs. Poly Bears

Arlington is 2-8 against Poly since January of 2015 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Thursday. The Arlington Lions will head out to face off against the Poly Bears at 6:30 p.m. One thing working in Arlington's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last five contests.

Last Tuesday, Arlington came up short against Rancho Christian and fell 73-60.

Meanwhile, Poly was able to grind out a solid victory over Rancho Verde on Tuesday, taking the game 61-52. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Bears.

Poly's win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 11-7. As for Arlington, they now have a losing record at 8-9.

Arlington took a serious blow against Poly in their previous meeting back in April of 2021, falling 69-40. Can Arlington avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
