Football Recap: Bluff City Gray Wolves vs. Westwood Longhorns
Thursday just wasn't the day for Bluff City's offense. They were beaten by the Westwood Longhorns 40-0 on Thursday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Gray Wolves of the 20-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in August of 2023.
Westwood found their leader in underclassman Corrian Johnson, who threw for 208 yards and three touchdowns while completing 90.9% of his passes.
Bluff City's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Westwood, the victory also got them back to even at 1-1.
Bluff City will welcome Hillcrest at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Westwood, they are on the road again on Friday to play St. Benedict at Auburndale at 7:00 p.m.
