Underclassman Lily Fortin came into Wednesday's game looking to prove herself and that's exactly what she did. She wasn't messing around on Wednesday, keeping things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out eight over four innings pitched. The pitching appearance was her fourth straight with seven or more strikeouts.
