Basketball Recap: Sandy Valley Takes a Loss

Sandy Valley lost against Hiland back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Sandy Valley Cardinals were dealt a 61-28 defeat at the hands of the Hiland Hawks.

Sandy Valley's loss dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Hiland, the win keeps them at an undefeated 5-0.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Sandy Valley will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Garaway at 7:15 p.m. on January 3, 2025. As for Hiland, it'll be Battle of the Birds when the Hiland Hawks take on the John F. Kennedy Catholic Eagles at 7:45 p.m. on December 27th. John F. Kennedy Catholic will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something Hiland surely won't give up without a fight.
