Basketball Recap: Christian Heritage Academy Takes a Loss

Christian Heritage Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 12th straight loss dating back to last season. They were beaten by the Beacon Academy Trailblazers 43-9. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Lions this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 34-4 back in December of 2024.

Christian Heritage Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Beacon Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 5-7.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Christian Heritage Academy will face off against Horizon Science Academy McKinley Park at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Beacon Academy, they will look to defend their home court on Monday against Intrinsic Charter School Downtown Campus at 5:00 p.m. Beacon Academy's defense has only allowed 27.7 points per game this season, so Intrinsic Charter School Downtown Campus' offense will have their work cut out for them.
