Basketball Recap: Steelville Triumphs

Steelville's game last Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They strolled past the Sullivan Eagles with points to spare, taking the game 51-36. The Cardinals have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Eagles, too.

Steelville's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Sullivan, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

A feisty cat fight will be fought when the Steelville Cardinals face off against the Licking Wildcats at 5:30 p.m. on December 13th. As for Sullivan, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 62-27 defeat against Washington on the 10th.
