Sheridan extended their home winning streak to seven games dating back to last season thanks to a huge performance from Grace Stoltz. Everything went the Generals' way against the Philo Electrics on Thursday as they made off with a 3-0 victory for which the team can thank Stoltz, who had 20 digs and two aces. She is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in each of the last 17 games she's played dating back to last season.

The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-20, 25-14.

Sheridan's win bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Philo, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Sheridan will venture away from home to square off against Bloom-Carroll at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Philo, they will challenge Lakewood at 11:15 a.m. on Saturday.
