Cumberland Gap has gone a perfect 4-0 against Scott recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. Cumberland Gap is taking a road trip to take on Scott at 5:00 p.m. Cumberland Gap is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.9 runs per game this season.

Hunter Gibson made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored three runs and stole a base while going 3-for-4. He has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times he's played. Another player making a difference was Kole Carter, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.

Scott never got on the board in their matchup on Monday, but that sure wasn't the case in their game against Sunbright last Friday. They were the clear victors by a 15-0 margin over the Tigers. The high-scoring performance was a welcome turnaround for the Highlanders' hitters, who had struggled in the games prior.

Cumberland Gap's loss dropped their record down to 5-4. As for Scott, they now also have a winning record of 5-4.

Everything went Cumberland Gap's way against Scott in their previous matchup back in April of 2017, as Cumberland Gap made off with a 14-4 victory. Does Cumberland Gap have another victory up their sleeve, or will Scott turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
