Jake Petrin posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Saturday. As a matter of fact, he produced his best game of the campaign: he struck out seven batters over six innings while giving up just two earned runs off five hits (and not a single walk). He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one walk in four consecutive appearances.

Looking ahead, Petrin and Canterbury School will venture away from home to square off against Millbrook School at 12:00 p.m. on Sunday.
