Football Recap: Brownwood Starts Season with Defeat on the Road

Brownwood had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They lost 25-0 to the Wylie Bulldogs on Friday. The Lions were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Bulldogs apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in August of 2023.

Coming up, Brownwood will be playing at home against Wall at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Wylie, they will hit the road for the first time this season to challenge Monterey at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
