Soccer Recap: Lake Brantley Falls Short of Apopka in the Playoffs

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Lake Brantley can now relate to. They fell just short of the Apopka Blue Darters by a score of 1-0 on Wednesday. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Patriots this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 1-0 last Friday.

This is the second loss in a row for Lake Brantley and nudges their season record down to 3-10-4. As for Apopka, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 7-10-2.

Lake Brantley does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Apopka, they will face off against Ocoee at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Ocoee's last four matchups have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
