Basketball Recap: Sauk Rapids-Rice Takes a Loss

Sauk Rapids-Rice was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 24th straight loss dating back to last season. They were outmatched by the Fergus Falls Otters and fell 90-30. While losing is never fun, the Storm can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Minnesota basketball rankings (they are ranked 342nd, while the Otters are ranked 55th).

Sauk Rapids-Rice's defeat dropped their record down to 0-23. As for Fergus Falls, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 15-5 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Sauk Rapids-Rice will face off against Rocori at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. As for Fergus Falls, they will challenge Willmar at 7:15 p.m. on Friday.
