Volleyball Recap: St. Pauls Takes a Loss

After flying high against Westover last Thursday, St. Pauls came back down to earth. The Bulldogs lost 3-0 to the South View Tigers on Tuesday. The Bulldogs haven't had much luck with the Tigers recently, as the team has come up short the last eight times they've met.

The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-21, 25-16.

Among those leading the charge was Giselle Colvin, who had 11 digs and one assist. That's the most digs she has posted over her last four matches.

St. Pauls' loss dropped their record down to 6-13. As for South View, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 10-6 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. St. Pauls will square off against rival Douglas Byrd at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, South View is set to take on their familiar foe Seventy-First at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
