Christian Brothers (Sacramento, Calif.) on Saturday, totaling 12 points as the Falcons bested
Oakmont (Roseville, Calif.) 35-19.
After taking the lead on a touchdown pass by
Chris Guillen to
Brandon Thompson in the first quarter, the Falcons were up 29-7 at the half.
Christian Brothers saw its 22-point halftime lead fall to 16 entering the fourth.
The win was a nice bounce back for CB, which lost to Whitney last week, 22-14. The win broke Christian Brothers' two-game losing streak. The loss was the fourth in a row for the Vikings.
Christian Brothers (4-2) will play a Capital Valley Conference game against Rio Linda next week, while Oakmont (2-4) will take on Del Campo also in a Capital Valley Conference game.
