Basketball Recap: Creekside Starts Season with Victory on the Road

Creekside had to kick off their season on the road on Tuesday, but they showed no ill effects. They blew past the Carver Panthers 78-55. The matchup was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point the Seminoles had established a 22-point advantage.

Daylen Jones was the offensive standout of the game as he posted 25 points. His big performance that evening made it nine games in a row in which he has scored at least 16 points. Jacorey Lee was another key player, putting up nine points.

Carver's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Creekside will be defending their home court for the first time this season when they go up against Northview at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Carver, they will challenge Kendrick at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday.
