There's no place like home for Sierra Vista, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Monday. They blew past the Green Valley Gators 56-33 on Thursday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win the Mountain Lions have posted since December 13, 2024.

Donnayja Gibson continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, putting up 25 points. Avery Silvas was another key player, earning seven points.

Sierra Vista's victory bumped their record up to 12-9. As for Green Valley, their defeat was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 5-16.

Sierra Vista will square off against Silverado at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Green Valley, they and Western will face off at 6:30 p.m. on Friday without much rest having both just played. Western will roll in looking for their seventh straight win, something Green Valley surely won't give up without a fight.
