Roxboro Community and NCSSM: Durham are an even 3-3 against one another since November of 2016, but not for long. The Bulldogs will host the Unicorns at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.

They came within six points of losing the streak, but they secured an 83-77 W against Voyager Academy. The Unicorns' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Roxboro Community better keep an eye on Alex Caza. He was instrumental in NCSSM: Durham's win, dropping a double-double with 27 points and 14 boards. Those 27 points gave Caza a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Nikhil Nanduri, who posted 11 points and seven steals.

NCSSM: Durham was working as a unit and finished the game with 20 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

NCSSM: Durham's victory bumped their record up to 6-0. As for Roxboro Community, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Roxboro Community took a serious blow against NCSSM: Durham in their previous meeting back in November of 2024, falling 67-28. That game was all but decided by halftime, at which point the Bulldogs were down 44-19.
