Basketball Recap: Camp Verde Takes a Loss

Camp Verde lost against Many Farms back in December of 2017 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Camp Verde Cowboys took a 40-31 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Many Farms Lobos.

Defeat or not, Camp Verde got some senior leadership from Jazmin Torres and Lydia Bleak. Torres almost dropped a double-double on nine points and nine boards, while Bleak posted four points. That's the most points Torres has posted since back in December of 2023.

Camp Verde's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Many Farms, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 6-1.

Camp Verde didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 37-31 victory against Kingman on the 12th. As for Many Farms, they will host Red Mesa at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
