Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Bishop). They walked away with a 90-83 win over the San Diego Vaqueros on Tuesday. The victory was nothing new for the Badgers as they're now sitting on eight straight.

It was another big night for Kristian Ramos, who dropped a double-double on 44 points and 13 boards. He has been hot for a while, having posted 18 or more points the last 16 times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of James Garcia, who posted 17 points along with six assists and six rebounds.

Several Vaqueros players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Myke Gutierrez, who had 20 points. Another player making a difference was Ryan Casas, who put up 16 points.

Bishop has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten matches, which provided a massive bump to their 17-12 record this season. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 24.6 points. As for San Diego, the defeat snapped their winning streak at five games and leaves them with a 19-8 record.

Bishop will head out on the road to face off against Hebbronville at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The timing isn't great for Hebbronville: they have been struggling with four straight losses at home, while Bishop has snatched up four consecutive wins on the road. As for San Diego, they will welcome Falfurrias at 7:45 p.m. on Friday. San Diego knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past five games -- so hopefully Falfurrias likes a good challenge.
